The Wellington Street Theatre hosts a weekend theatre festival on Friday, June 11th, Saturday, June 12th and Sunday, June 13th, 2010.

Collective Productions, Two Women Productions, Theatre 5 and Bottle Tree Productions have combined to form a weekend theatrical festival from June 11th to the 13th at The Wellington Street Theatre in downtown Kingston.

The weekend starts off on Friday, June 11th at 8 pm, with a night of music featuring pop rock numbers from Chelsea Swain, Jake Deodato, and Meredith Slack. R & B singer Ryan Lewis, Folk singer Chris Morris and Jazz singer Glenna Green make this a fun musical night for everyone – Tickets only $10

Two Women Productions, celebrates Pride Month June 12th at 8 pm, with story-tellers Jennifer Cayley and Jan Andrews from Ottawa. Book of Spells is the story of their journey of self-discovery, about finding their love for each other. Tickets $20/adults, $18/seniors, $15/students

Theatre 5 presents a one-act play; The Dark Lady of the Sonnets by George Bernard Shaw, a humorous look at William Shakespeare, Queen Elizabeth 1st, and the mysterious dark lady of the sonnets. Show time Sunday, June 13th at 2 pm. Tickets $10

Bottle Tree Productions stars Hannah Smith in two productions including Ghost of the Tree on Sunday, June 13th at 4 pm: an emotional one-act play about seven generations of mothers and their daughters and about the dangerous secrets that destroy the family tree. Tickets $10

Hannah Smith then stars in Patsy Cline – Her Last Concert along with Justin Robertson and Anton Kaduck on Sunday, June 13th at 8 pm. Tickets $20/adults and $15/seniors & students

The Wellington Street Theatre Gallery presents mixed media works by Celia Piper, photos by Denise Love and images by Eva Kidd for sale.

A Festival Pass is available for $30, which entitles the bearer to see any of the shows. Total value of the pass $60 for students, $63 for seniors and $70 for adults. Passes available online at
